FLEETWOOD’S League One survival hopes are riding on their clash with Wanderers at the UniBol this weekend.

Stephen Crainey’s men are only above the drop zone on goal difference following Tuesday night’s defeat against Sheffield Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the Whites will be keen to finish the season on a positive note and could finish as high as ninth heading into their clash with the Cod Army.

Here is everything you need to know about the potential promotions and relegations in League One on the final day.

Title race

Wigan are currently top of the table and head to Shrewsbury knowing a win would secure the League One title.

However, Rotherham still have a chance if they win at Gillingham and hope Wigan drop points against the Shrews.

MK Dons also still have a mathematical chance of finishing top if they win at Plymouth but would need both sides to lose as well as a six-goal swing.

Play-offs

The race for a place in the top six has gone down to the wire and seventh-placed Wycombe could still finish as high as fourth ahead of their trip to Burton.

Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland will both guarantee a play-off place if they win against Portsmouth and Morecambe respectively.

Plymouth, who take on third-placed MK Dons, are currently only above Wycombe on goal difference and therefore need to match the Chairboys’ result to finish in the top six.

Relegation battle

Fleetwood head to the UniBol knowing they need to match Gillingham’s result if they are to avoid relegation to League Two.

The Gills have a tough fixture on paper, facing promotion hopefuls Rotherham at the Priestfield Stadium.

Wimbledon also still have a mathematical chance of beating the drop if they beat Accrington and both sides above them lose, but the Dons would also need a seven-goal swing in their favour.

Crewe have already been relegated, while Doncaster aren’t yet officially down but would need a miraculous turn of events to survive.
