IAN Evatt has built a squad with a healthy mix of youth and experience at Wanderers, but how did it compare to their League One rivals in the 2021/22 campaign?

Despite their youth, the likes of Aaron Morley and James Trafford became important players for the Whites during the second half of the campaign.

Meanwhile, Alex Baptiste and Matt Gilks both brought experience to the table, although they are now no longer part of the playing squad.

According to transfermarkt.co.uk, Wanderers had the sixth highest average age in League One during the 2021/22 campaign.

Wimbledon had the youngest squad with an average age of 22.5 years, with the likes of Anthony Hartigan and Ayoub Assal getting plenty of game time.
