THE bookies’ League One odds have been updated following the conclusion of the play-offs, but Wanderers still rank highly.

The Whites are one of the form teams in the division during the second half of the campaign, losing just five league matches since the turn of the year.

Ian Evatt’s men finished the season in ninth place after racking up wins against Doncaster, Accrington, Cheltenham and Fleetwood in the final stages.

Wanderers are still priced at 4/1 to win promotion back to the Championship, according to SkyBet’s latest odds.

Ipswich remain the favourites at 7/4, while Sheffield Wednesday are priced at 9/4 after failing to overcome Sunderland in the play-offs.

Derby (11/4) and Barnsley (7/2) are the only other sides who have shorter odds than Wanderers heading into the new season.

Meanwhile, MK Dons and Wycombe are both priced at 5/1 after failing to win promotion via the play-offs.

The Whites are also priced at 14/1 to clinch the League One title as they aim to continue their climb back up the divisions.
