Yan Dhanda is reportedly set to join Scottish Premiership side Ross County following his release by Swansea.

Wanderers were linked with a move for Dhanda back in January prior to Kyle Dempsey's arrival from Gillingham.

Plymouth and Burton were also said to be looking at the attacking midfielder as well as interest from the United States.

Dhanda came through Liverpool’s youth ranks before heading to Swansea on a free transfer in the summer of 2018.

The 23-year-old – who represented England at Under-17 level - made just seven appearances last season, most recently in an FA Cup tie against Southampton.

He was one of three Swansea players released at the end of their deals along with Korey Smith and Ben Hamer.

Dhanda is now heading north of the border to sign for Ross County, according to a report by The Press and Journal.

The Staggies finished sixth in the Scottish top-flight last season under former Watford and Cardiff boss Malky Mackay.

The Bolton squad are currently in Portugal for a pre-season training camp ahead of the upcoming League One season.

Wanderers have already re-signed James Trafford and brought in former Cambridge full-back Jack Iredale this summer as Ian Evatt aims to push for promotion to the Championship.

Liverpool and Northern Ireland right-back Conor Bradley is also set for a loan move to the UniBol after the Whites ended their interest in Marlon Fossey.
