Wanderers have revealed that they have passed the 13,000 season ticket mark for the upcoming League One campaign.

The club confirmed the news on its Twitter page, writing: “We’re thrilled to confirm we’ve now sold over 13,000 season tickets!

“Thank you to every single one of you for your incredible support. We can’t wait to see you all at the @UoBStadium very soon.”

The Whites had already sold more season tickets for the 2022/23 season than in any of the previous years since the Premier League days.

Speaking in March after Wanderers passed the 10,000 mark, chairman Sharon Brittan said: “This extraordinary show of support confirms once again that we really do have the best and most loyal fans here at Bolton Wanderers.

“We hoped the reduced Early Bird prices would go some way to repay the incredible commitment our fans have always shown the club and we are excited to see the offer embraced in such a way. I’d like to thank each and every one of you."

She added: “Something very special is happening here at the University of Bolton Stadium and we want the whole BWFC family with us.”

Season tickets are still on sale ahead of the new season, with prices starting at £299 for adults and £39 for juniors.

Ian Evatt’s men return to the UniBol on Saturday, July 23 when they host Championship side Huddersfield Town in a pre-season friendly.

Wanderers then kick off their league campaign with a trip to Portman Road to face Ipswich Town a week later.
