Daisy Hill will be looking to maintain their 100-per-cent record in North West Counties League Division One North when they travel to St Helens face Pilkington tonight (7.45pm).
The two teams are among a group of six at the top of the table who have won their opening two games, and Daisy manager Leighton Mills is expecting a tough game.
“I’ve had a look at Pilkington and I know where we can hurt them, but we have got to be careful as they are a really good team,” said Mills.
“They have players that can hurt us, but we have got players who can do the same to them, so it should be a really good game.
“Would I take a draw right now? Yes, I would because many people have tipped them to win the league, and we are playing them away from home on a 4G pitch.
“A draw would be a decent result for us, it would mean we’d stay unbeaten after three games, which is a good start for us.”
