Wanderers have announced that their first ‘Family Day’ of the season will take place against Charlton Athletic.

The Addicks make the long journey to the UniBol on Saturday, September 3 in League One action.

The Whites attracted bumper crowds for similar occasions against Rotherham United and Accrington Stanley last season, with cheaper prices on offer in a bid to make live football more accessible to the local community.

And tickets will again be available at a reduced rate this time, costing £10 for adults and £5 for both under-18s and over-65s.

“Family Days are a big part of what we’re all about at Bolton Wanderers,” CEO Neil Hart told the club’s website.

“We know this club plays a huge role in our community and we want this stadium to be an accessible place, where everyone feels welcome.

“As ever, we remain committed to affordable ticket pricing and we hope our Family Day offers another opportunity for supporters to enjoy a great day of football with their families and friends.”

The match will be sponsored by Greater Manchester based regeneration business Peel L&P.

“Being an active and proud member of the Bolton community is very important to us,” added the company’s executive director Phil Wilson.

“Bolton Wanderers has a dedicated, passionate and loyal community of fans and we are looking forward to working in partnership with the football club to deliver even more accessible games for fans old and new to enjoy.”

Supporters can purchase their tickets for the fixture online, at the Ticket Office or via the phone lines on 01204 328888. All tickets brought online or over the phone will be sent out digitally.
