Wanderers return to action this weekend after the international break, facing Lincoln City at the UniBol.
Ian Evatt’s men won their last three league fixtures before the break, beating Charlton, MK Dons and Peterborough.
Team news
The Whites are hoping Liverpool loanee Conor Bradley recovers from a bout of illness to feature against the Imps.
Amadou Bakayoko will be assessed after such extended travel while on international duty with Sierra Leone, playing games against South Africa and DR Congo.
Jon Dadi Bodvarsson has benefitted from the break and is ready to face Lincoln if called upon after a frustrating start to the campaign with injuries.
Opposition lowdown
Former Liverpool and Manchester City wideman Mark Kennedy took charge at the LNER Stadium over the summer.
Lincoln are currently 12th in the League One table, having picked up 13 points from their opening nine matches.
The Imps also had no fixture last weekend after their clash with MK Dons was postponed due to international call-ups.
Kennedy’s side suffered a 2-1 defeat against Doncaster Rovers in the Papa John’s Trophy in their last outing despite Charles Vernam’s goal.
Head-to-head
Wanderers have faced Lincoln 22 times in their history, with a record of 11 wins, four draws and seven defeats.
Evatt’s men recorded a 3-1 victory when the sides met at the UniBol back in February thanks to goals from George Johnston, Kieran Sadlier and Amadou Bakayoko.
The Whites’ last defeat in the fixture was a 5-1 loss at Sincil Bank on an afternoon to forget for supporters, although Ronan Darcy did manage to get on the scoresheet.
