Wanderers could make it three League One wins on the spin when they welcome struggling Oxford to the UniBol this weekend.
The Whites enter the game in high spirits following dramatic comebacks against Accrington and Burton over the past week.
Ian Evatt’s men are currently fifth in the table, although they have played a game less than most of the sides around them.
Team news
Lloyd Isgrove and Eoin Toal are both back available for Wanderers, while the likes of Amadou Bakayoko, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and Kieran Lee made an impact off the bench against Burton.
Will Aimson was forced off with a hamstring problem while playing for the B Team against Accrington Reserves on Wednesday afternoon.
As for the visitors, experienced forward Billy Bodin is unavailable due to suspension after he was sent off against Portsmouth.
Last season’s top scorer Matt Taylor is also serving a three-match suspension, but winger James Henry could return to the squad.
Opposition lowdown
Oxford are currently 20th in the League One table following a tough start to the campaign, although they have played at least one game fewer than the sides around them.
The U’s drew 1-1 against sixth-place Portsmouth at Fratton Park on Tuesday night despite finishing the game with 10 men.
Boss Karl Robinson is in the top five longest-serving managers in the EFL, having been in the hot seat since March 2018.
Head-to-head
Wanderers have faced Oxford 26 times in their history, with a record of 11 wins, eight draws and seven defeats.
Evatt’s men recorded a 3-2 victory at the Kassam Stadium back in February thanks to goals from Declan John, Marlon Fossey and Amadou Bakayoko.
The Whites also came out on top when the sides last met at the UniBol, with Dapo Afolayan and Eoin Doyle on target in a 2-1 victory.
