Wanderers have made experienced striker Cameron Jerome their third signing of the January transfer window.

Jerome has put pen to paper over an 18-month deal at the University of Bolton Stadium after leaving Luton by mutual consent.

He is eligible for Saturday’s trip to Charlton and arrives at an important time, with Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and Dan Nlundulu both injured, while Elias Kachunga is suspended.

But what will Jerome bring to Wanderers? Here is everything you need to know about his career so far

Jerome made his professional debut for Cardiff during a goalless draw against Leeds in October 2004, coming off the bench for the final 20 minutes.

The striker spent a couple of years with the Bluebirds before making the switch to Birmingham, where he would go on to make more than 200 appearances during a five-year spell at St Andrew’s.

His performances in the Midlands earned a move to Stoke City and he was on target on his debut during a Europa League tie against Dynamo Kiev.

Jerome went on to score 12 goals in 67 appearances for the Potters including a memorable effort against Southampton in the Premier League, giving Kelvin Davis absolutely no chance with a stunning first-time strike from 25 yards.

After a loan stint at Crystal Palace, he headed to Norwich and went on to play 138 games for the Canaries.

The 36-year-old also spent time at Derby and MK Dons, as well as a spell in Turkey with Goztepe, before heading to Luton in the summer of 2021.

Jerome scored five goals in 37 appearances last season as the Hatters achieved a six-place finish in the Championship. He has played 24 times this term and was on target in a 3-1 victory against QPR back in October.

Jerome also switched his international allegiances to Grenada last year. He was born in Huddersfield to Grenadian parents.

In summary, he has scored 222 career goals in 682 appearances and brings a wealth of experience to the UniBol as Ian Evatt’s men aim to consolidate their place in the top six.
