WANDERERS (3-4-1-2).

JAMES TRAFFORD…7.

Came to Wanderers’ rescue on a couple of occasions and also claimed plenty of the crosses that were peppered into the penalty box all day. No blame for the goal.

EOIN TOAL…6.5.

Potentially saved a goal with a great recovery challenge on Hanlan but was guilty of going too direct after the first 25 minutes, which played into Wycombe’s hands.

RICARDO SANTOS…6.

Didn’t give much away against the ultra-physical Vokes but, equally, you can never really say he was on top of things. Might have scored with an early chance.

LUKE MBEPE…6.

A real lesson for the young centre-back, who never shirked the responsibility of protecting his penalty box but never had things easy.

CONOR BRADLEY…7.

Not the return he would have wanted – and scythed down in the first minute – but always a positive outlet on the right flank.

AARON MORLEY…5.5.

Took responsibility on the ball but really struggled to make his mark on set pieces, which were pretty inconsistent in difficult conditions.

KYLE DEMPSEY…6.5.

Until he was forced off the field with injury he looked the best bet of getting Bolton back into the game.

GETHIN JONES…5.5.

Withdrawn at half time after damaging his hamstring. Hit the bar – and probably should have scored – but didn’t really make much of an indent on the left.

SHOLA SHORTIRE…5.5.

Frustrating day. Targeted for some rough treatment at times and couldn’t find the right space to do any real damage to the home side.

DION CHARLES…5.5.

A couple of good touches to link up with his team-mates but with no space in behind the Wycombe back line he rarely got in any positions to cause problems.

VICTOR ADEBOYEJO…5.

Desperately needs a goal to boost his confidence. Chased and harried, which was admirable, but lacked any real quality near to goal.

Subs: John 6, 45 (for Jones) – Did add a bit of attacking impetus in the second half.

Lee 5.5, 57 (for Shoretire) – Had quite a wasteful start on the ball.

Sheehan 5.5, 65 (for Dempsey) – Wasted one decent shooting chance.

Jerome 5.5, 66 (for Charles) – Might have had a penalty.

R Williams 83 (for Bradley), Kachunga 83 (for Morley).

Not used: Isgrove.

Wycombe (3-4-2-1): Stryjek; Grimmer, Forino, Jacobson; Wheeler, Scowen, Wing, Obita; McClearly, Hanlan; Vokes.

Subs: Willis 33 (for Grimmer), Freeman 81 (for McCleary), De Barr 88 (for Hanlan).

Not used: Thompson, Campbell, Cartwright.

Attendance: 6,544.

Referee: Andy Woolmer – 5/10 – Might have punished Obita with a red for a first-minute challenge on Bradley, might have given a penalty for Wheeler’s shove on Jerome, might have issued a red for Scowen’s many hacks at Shoretire. He didn’t do any of the above, and it is hard to fathom.
