Fans have sent their good luck messages to the Wanderers team ahead of their clash with Plymouth Argyle at Wembley.
The Bolton News asked fans for their well wishes and messages for manager Ian Evatt and his team for the long anticipated Papa Johns Trophy final on Sunday.
And many were quick to pass on their best regards.
Andrew Thomas said: “Let's erase the horror of 12 years ago and succeed like we did 100 years ago at Wembley. COYWM.”
Lesley Davis said: “Been a Wanderer for 53 years and my kids and grandkids are massive Bolton fans.
“We will be there cheering the lads on, come on Bolton, I just want to see the smile on my grandkids faces when we lift that trophy.”
The last time Wanderers were at Wembley was in 2011, in a disastrous 5-0 defeat against Stoke City.
But it is hoped that fans will have a much better experience this time around.
Marion Percival said: “I hope the team does all the fans a great day out and they win.”
Paul Bolton Kerrigan said: “COYWM lets play our hearts out and bring it home and show the world how far we have come.”
Around 34,000 Wanderers fans are heading to Wembley.
One famous fan, who goes by the name of Vernon Kay, had this to say: "Good luck! Massive day out for the town. Huge family support! Seems there's a reunion at Wembley this weekend!'"
Another famous fan, one Stu Francis, said: "Come on you Whites! You've come this far now, finish the job at Wembley.
"Think 1958 and you will be okay."
Phillipa Lucy Vickers said: “Once a Wanderer always a Wanderer, I'm so proud of you all, you will always be my team and the reason I have high blood pressure.
“Good luck, lets show them how it’s done shall we lads!”
Martin Bill Borgoyne said: “COYWM. Wanderers are off to Wembley, it's been 100 years since we won at the old Wembley, let's win it at the new Wembley.
“Come on, Wanderers are massive, wherever we go.”
Going back in time, Wanderers’ last official attendance of 35,000-plus was a home game against Liverpool in May 1979.
Susan Godfrey said: “Every confidence in you C.O.Y.W.M. see you there.”
Margaret Shaw added: “You can do this lads, see you Sunday.”
