As Bolton gears up for the big final, here is where you can watch the match in Bolton.

Bolton Wanderers are set to face Plymouth Argyle at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, April 2, in the Papa John’s Trophy Final.

Wanderers have not played at Wembley since the FA Cup semi-final against Stoke City in 2011 and this will be the 14th time that the club has turned out at the stadium.

Around 34,000 Wanderers fans are expected to walk down Wembley Way, with some having travelled from as far away as China and America.

However, while many will be away in London, plenty of fans will still be in Bolton for the final, with pubs around the borough expected to show the match.

Graham Wilson, landlord of The Tansy Green in Breightmet, said: “We will be showing it, we’ve got five televisions, it will be fantastic won’t it?

“A family were in yesterday who had come from Canada to watch it at Wembley.

“They’ve come over just to watch the match, that’s a long way to come to watch a football match!”

Ash Preston, landlord of The Churchgate in Bolton town centre, said: “We will be showing it. We’ve got live entertainment after the match.

“Normally we’d have a singer, but we’ll have it a bit more like karaoke after the match.

“Bring it home lads!”

The Old Original Bay Horse will have a buffet and the pub will be decorated for the occasion.
