Were you in attendance at Wembley? The Latin American Bolton Wanderers Supporters’ Club needs your help.

Matias Foti, Nicolas Alvarez and Federico Di Rocco have been watching the Whites on iFollow from 7,000 miles away.

They made their first trip to the UK to watch Ian Evatt’s men beat Plymouth in the Papa Johns Trophy final.

However, their flag went missing after the celebrations at Wembley. It was supposed to be a memento of a great occasion.

They wrote on social media: “This flag was very special for us because it was present at Wembley at one of the best days ever… Hope someone gives the flag back to us.”

If you have any information, you can get in touch with the group via their official Twitter page HERE.

They will also be in attendance for Friday’s trip to Exeter and the home fixture against Cambridge several days later.

Speaking before the final, Matias said: “It was a lot of effort because the economic situation here in Argentina is awful. Every year was more difficult for us travel to Bolton, but we could do it.

“We are looking forward to meeting Bolton fans and giving them a big hug because we feel like Boltonians, we feel like we were born there.”

The group was initially planning on being in the North West in the middle of March but they postponed due to the international break.

“Like it was destiny prepared for us, the airline changed one step of our trip and gave us a change of dates for free, so we chose two weeks in April,” he added.

“But we never imagined that we would get to the final of the Papa Johns Trophy, so it’s incredible.”
