Fans react as EFL announce change to League One play-off dates

The EFL confirmed yesterday that the fixtures will now be played on the following dates:

• 6th place v 3rd place (Friday, May 12, 8pm)
• 5th place v 4th place (Saturday, May 13, 3pm)
• 3rd place v 6th place (Thursday, May 18, 8pm)
• 4th place v 5th place (Friday, May 19, 8pm)

Sheffield Wednesday and Barnsley have already secured their place in the top six along with Wanderers.

Meanwhile, Derby and Peterborough will battle it out for the final spot this weekend.

Wednesday confirmed on their official website that the decision to move the fixtures had been made “on police advice”.
