Wanderers wrap up their League One campaign with a trip to Joey Barton’s Bristol Rovers.

Ian Evatt’s men have already secured a play-off spot following last weekend’s 2-0 win against Fleetwood.

Sheffield Wednesday and Barnsley are also guaranteed to finish in the top six, while Derby and Peterborough will battle it out for the remaining place.

Meanwhile, the Gas will be aiming to bounce back from Tuesday night’s 2-1 defeat against Shrewsbury. Barton’s side sit 15th in the table following last season’s promotion from League Two.

When and where is the game being played?

The fixture takes place at the Memorial Stadium on Sunday, May 7 (12pm). It was originally due to be played a day earlier but was moved due to the coronation of King Charles III.

The points were shared at the UniBol in December, with Dion Charles scoring a dramatic late equaliser after Josh Coburn had opened the scoring.

Wanderers’ last win in the fixture came in October 2019, with Luke and Daryl Murphy both on target either side of half time.
