WANDERERS have announced a three-year shirt sponsorship deal with Victorian Plumbing.

The agreement will see the logo of the UK’s largest retailer of bathroom products displayed on home and away shirts from the start of next season.

Skelmersdale-based Victorian Plumbing are making their first venture into sport sponsorship and were picked ahead of two other offers from national retailers after a consultation held earlier this year.

Wanderers CEO Neil Hart says the deal is another step in the right direction for the commercial side of the club.

“We are thrilled to be entering a three-year commercial partnership with Victorian Plumbing,” he said.

“They are an incredibly impressive company with a huge national presence – but their values remain rooted firmly in community. For those reasons, we felt this was a brand we wanted to align ourselves with for the longer term and we are delighted they are now on board for the next three years.

“This is another landmark sponsorship deal for the club and a further example of how we are continuing to expand our growing commercial portfolio, working in new and innovative ways to maximise the huge potential of Bolton Wanderers. We look forward to launching our brand-new retro home kit later this month. “We look forward to working closely with them in the coming seasons and to bringing this fantastic partnership to life with unique and exciting activations.”

Victorian Plumbing was launched in 2000 by Mark Radcliffe and is now the biggest company of its kind, recently investing in a new 544,000 square-foot logistics centre in Leyland.

Joe Pascoe, Chief Marketing Officer at Victorian Plumbing, said: “We’re hugely excited to announce this partnership with Bolton Wanderers and are looking forward to becoming deeply aligned over the next three years.

“This marks a major advancement in our distinctive marketing approach and for our first ever sports marketing campaign, we couldn’t have found a better partner; Bolton Wanderers’ passionate fan base and community-focused approach to football is something we at Victorian Plumbing admire.

“We’re looking forward to getting to know the Wanderers fans in the coming 2023/24 season.”

Wanderers expect to launch home and away kits later this month alongside a special charity kit, which will carry the name of Bolton Wanderers in the Community and raise funds for the club’s charity arm.

Supporters voted for their favourite designs in an online poll on the official website earlier this year.
