Wanderers will kick off the 2023/24 League One campaign with a home fixture against Lincoln on Saturday, August 5.

Ian Evatt’s men will be aiming to build on last term’s fifth-place finish, having come up just short against Barnsley in the play-off semi-final.

The Whites have already bolstered their ranks with the signings of Nathan Baxter, Joel Coleman and Josh Dacres-Cogley, while a deal for Bristol City wing-back Kane Wilson is set to be completed before the weekend.

Wanderers’ first away game is a trip to Whaddon Road to take on Cheltenham on Saturday, August 12.

Local rivals Wigan come to town on Saturday, August 19 following their relegation from the Championship.

Evatt’s men make the trip to the LNER Stadium on Boxing Day for the reverse fixture against Mark Kennedy’s Imps.

They also make the short journey to Fleetwood during the festive period before hosting Burton on New Year’s Day.

The Easter weekend features a trip to newly-promoted Stevenage on Friday, March 29 before a home fixture against Reading on Monday, April 1.

The Whites conclude the regular season with a trip to London Road to take on Peterborough, who also came up short in the play-offs last term.
