Bolton Wanderers FC is putting the needs of fans first to make sure everyone gets to enjoy the beautiful game.

The club will be be opening three new additional facilities at the Toughsheet Community Stadium ahead of Saturday’s home game against Peterborough United.

Thanks to a grant from the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, a new Changing Places facility in the south-west corner of the stadium will be one of three installed in the town.

In addition, the football club is also opening a new quiet room for use on match days and a wellbeing hub, which will complement the current Fan Zone at the stadium, as well as offering an extra facility to be used throughout the week by Bolton Wanderers in the Community.

A Changing Places toilet provides sanitary accommodation for people with multiple and complex disabilities who cannot use a standard accessible toilet.

With additional space and equipment, the facility is designed for people who need assistance to be changed.

Created in partnership with Bolton Wanderers Supporters’ Trust, Bolton Wanderers in the Community, Bolton Council, Level Playing Field and the supplier RISE, the changing places facility will benefit supporters attending events and activities at the stadium, well as supporting users of the adjacent retail and leisure park.

The opening of the extra services will be celebrated on Saturday, 23rd September at 12.30pm at the Wellbeing Hub next to the club shop.

Saturday’s game against Peterborough will also be Wanderers’ first Community Day of the season with ticket prices reduced to £10 for adults and £5 for over-65s and under-18s to help make watching Wanderers as accessible as possible for supporters and local residents.
