Wanderers’ busy League One schedule continues with a tough test against Steve Evans’ Stevenage.

Ian Evatt’s men are looking to build on their hard-fought 1-0 victory at Port Vale on Saturday thanks to Dion Charles’ strike just before the break.

The Whites currently sit in the top four despite having played a game fewer than most of the sides around them at this stage.

Meanwhile, Stevenage have had a promising start to life back in League One and find themselves third in the table.

However, they were beaten 3-1 by Oxford at the weekend despite going in front through Jamie Reid’s opener after 15 minutes.

When and where is the game being played?

The fixture takes place at the Toughsheet Community Stadium tonight (Tuesday, October 3) with kick-off scheduled for 7.45pm.

Wanderers have only faced Stevenage twice in their history, coming out on top in both fixtures.

The most recent meeting was in February 2021, with Declan John getting the decisive goal as Ian Evatt’s men finished with 10 men after MJ Williams was given his marching orders.
