Wanderers kick-off a busy week on the road with a trip to Buckinghamshire to take on Wycombe.

Ian Evatt’s men enter the game on the back of a 2-1 win against Northampton thanks to goals from Dion Charles and Randell Williams.

The Whites are currently fourth in the League One table, only behind third-place Barnsley on goal difference at this stage.

Team news

Wanderers have no fresh injury concerns from the weekend but could make changes to the side that faced the Cobblers.

Carlos Mendes Gomes is unlikely to feature at Adams Park despite making progress in his recovery from a hamstring problem.

Kyle Dempsey remains sidelined with a back issue, while George Johnston is unlikely to return this season.

The likes of Jack Iredale, Will Forrester and Paris Maghoma are pushing for a recall against the Chairboys.

Opposition lowdown

Wycombe are sit in the table, two points off the play-offs with two games in hand on sixth-place Stevenage.

Matt Bloomfield’s side drew 2-2 against Peterborough at the Weston Homes Stadium over the weekend. Brandon Hanlan was on target for the Chairboys, who also benefitted from an Ephron Mason-Clark own goal.

The Buckinghamshire club are unbeaten in their last three league games, including victories against Fleetwood and Stevenage before the international break.

Head-to-head

Wanderers have only faced Wycombe six times in their history and were on the winning side on one occasion.

That victory came early last season, with Kyle Dempsey bagging a brace and Aaron Morley also getting on the scoresheet at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

Evatt’s men were beaten 1-0 at Adams Park last term. Lewis Wing got the decisive goal on the stroke of half time, beating James Trafford with a clever strike after a well worked corner.
