Wanderers will be hoping that the weather has less of a part to play when they return to Cambridge.

The initial fixture earlier this month only saw nine minutes of play before it fell victim to the torrential conditions.

Ian Evatt’s side had to settle for a point at the weekend following a thrilling 3-3 draw against Charlton. Victor Adeboyejo, Paris Maghoma and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson were all on target against the Addicks.

Meanwhile, Cambridge enter the game in high spirits following a comfortable 4-0 victory at Carlisle.

The U’s currently sit 16th in the League One table under Neil Harris, who took charge in December following the departure of long-serving boss Mark Bonner.

When and where is the game being played?

The fixture takes place on Tuesday, February 20 (7.45pm). The points were shared when the Whites headed to the Abbey Stadium last season following a goalless draw.

Bolton haven’t won any of their last six trips to Cambridge, with their last victory there coming in May 1985.
