Wanderers have received plenty of praise from Reading fans ahead of their upcoming trip to the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

The League One fixture - which takes place on Monday, April 1 (3pm) – will see the Whites hold their latest Community Day with the aim of making live football more accessible to the local community.

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions in the home and away ends. Reading have received an allocation of 2,051, the Royals announced on Thursday morning.

One Reading supporter wrote: “Great work from Bolton charging only £10. We should sell fairly well at that price.”

Another added: “Insanely good prices from Bolton” and a third said: “Proper club Bolton. Fair play.”

Bolton supporters can purchase their tickets online from the official club website, in person at the ticket office or via the phone lines on 01204 328888.

Wanderers haven’t faced Reading at home since January 2019 when Jack Hobbs scored a late equaliser to cancel out Nelson Oliveira’s penalty.

Ian Evatt’s side were beaten 2-1 at the Select Car Leasing Stadium earlier this season despite taking the lead through Dion Charles. Eoin Toal was also sent off in stoppage time for a second bookable offence.

Reading currently sit 20th in the League One table – three points above the drop zone heading into the business end of the campaign.

The Royals were docked a further two points by the EFL earlier this week, with two more points suspended, due to their problems off the pitch.

Ruben Selles’ side were beaten 3-2 by Shrewsbury last time out despite first-half goals from Sam Smith and Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan. A few days prior, they beat Port Vale 2-0 thanks to Lewis Wing and Harvey Knibbs.
