Stoneclough Juniors Under-12s completed a remarkable season with victory in the Manchester Grassroots Sunday Football League Grand Finals - completing a cup double.
Youngster Oscar fired in a penalty after a defender fouled Prince in the penalty area in the 17th minute to give Stoneclough the lead in the final.
Then, two minutes later, goalkeeper Ollie was quick to distribute a perfect kick to find Oscar in behind the defence to slot home a cool finish for his second to make it 2-0.
Delighted team coach Scott Morton said: “This achievement is particularly significant given the formidable opposition we faced throughout the season.
“Our opponents, who had bested us in seven out of nine previous encounters, proved to be a consistent challenge.
“However, our team displayed exceptional determination and teamwork, overcoming the odds to triumph in both critical cup finals against this strong rival.”
