Astley and Tyldesley Cycle Speedway Club riders Josh Pilkington and Frank White both won medals in the British Individual Finals.
Josh took the silver medal in the British Open Under-12 final at Hethersett, Norfolk.
He scored 18 points and was the only rider to beat the eventual winner, Roman Boaler, of Horspath.
Frank, meanwhile, won bronze in the British U14 Open Individual Final at the same venue. He also scored 18 points, to finish behind the Poole duo of Teddy Curtis and Jamie Randall, who scored 20 and 19 points respectively.
Last Sunday, A&T took on Sheffield in a full programme of North & Scotland League fixtures at Gin Pit.
Sheffield had already clinched the Division One title and they extended their unbeaten run by beating A&T 100-80.
Best rider for A&T was Northern Individual champion, John White, whose 20-points score included three race wins and setting the fastest time of the season at Gin Pit - 42.60secs - in heat 15.
A&T scorers: John White 20, Frank White 16 (plus 2 bonus), Terry Norman 15 (2), Duncan Whalley 9 (2), Steve Harris 9 (1), Josh Pilkington 7, Oscar Belt 4.
A&T needed to win the Division Two clash to force a tie-break match with Sheffield, to determine the Northern section winners.
However, the hosts had riders missing and this proved costly, as Sheffield ran out 81-69 winners to secure first place in the Northern section, with A&T second.
Sheffield will now face the Scottish section winners, Edinburgh, in a play-off to determine the title.
Thirteen-year-old Frank White was in brilliant form, dropping only one point.
A&T scorers: Frank White 19, Duncan Whalley 16 (2), Steve Harris 11 (2), Oscar Belt 9, Josh Pilkington 8, Alex Lawless 3, Elijah Rechembei 3.
There was some success for A&T, as a thumping 96-16 win in the Division Three match saw them regain the Northern League Division Three title by extending their unbeaten record this season. Alex Lawless raced unbeaten in the U10s category.
A&T scorers: Alex Lawless 16, Josh Pilkington 15, Oscar Belt 13, Elijah Rechembei 12, Nahom Tumizghy 10, Heather Brighouse 8, Charlotte Brighouse 8, Jacob Barrington 7, Riley Candy 7.
