WANDERERS Women will take on the likes of Bury, Tranmere and FC United of Manchester after their history-making promotion last season.
The line-up for Premier League of the North West Women’s Regional League – tier five of the women’s pyramid – has now been confirmed.
Myles Smith’s side went unbeaten last season and secured the title with a 3-0 win against Preston North End at the Toughsheet Stadium in front of more than 2,000 supporters.
Work is now underway to bolster the squad for the step up in class – but the Whites now know exactly who they are up against after the tiers outside the Women’s Super League were ratified this week.
Along with Poulton Vics, who also got promotion last season, they will debut in the division with AFC Fylde, who were relegated from National League Division One North.
Wanderers will also take on Crewe Alexandra, Curzon Ashton, Darwen FC, Fleetwood Town, Mancunian Unity and West Didsbury & Chorlton over the course of 22 games, home and away.
The club are also accepting expressions of interest from players aged 16 and over who may want to sign this season.
Those who apply may be asked to take part in a trial, and Bolton are also considering running a B Team next season if they feel one is needed.
