Jack Cullen's next big fight has been confirmed.

As reported by the Bolton News after his English title win earlier this month, 'Little Lever's Meat Cleaver' will take on Commonwealth middleweight champion Felix Cash.

The biggest fight of the 25-year-old's career will take place at the Manchester Arena on Saturday, July 6.

Cullen, trained by Tommy Battel at Metro ABC, has lost just one of 17 professional fights as he rises through the domestic rankings at 160lb.

He won his first major title on May 11 when stopping Jack Sellars to win the English belt in front of a raucous home crowd at the Bolton Whites Hotel.

It came on the same night that Farnworth's Jack Flatley won the English super-welterweight title with a thrilling 10-round points win over Craig Morris.

Now Cullen steps up to a major televised show for the first time, his clash with Cash to be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

The Bolton News:

His opponent has won all 11 of his fights so far and has seven knockouts on his record.

The 26-year-old from Surrey won his Commonwealth title by halting Rasheed Abolaji in the first round at the 02 Arena back in February.

The Matchroom Boxing bill is set to be headlined by Olympic bronze medallist Joshua Buatsi who is first part of the Anthony Joshua-Andy Ruiz Jnr undercard in New York this Saturday night.

Other confirmed fights on the Manchester card include a big Lancashire derby between Preston's Scott Fitzgerald and Blackpool's Brian Rose for the WBA International super-welterweight title.

Fitzgerald secured a thrilling victory over bitter rival Anthony Fowler last time out in Liverpool in March and now takes on former world title challenger Rose.

Another announced fight sees Lawrence Okolie defend his British and Commonwealth Cruiserweight titles against Jack Massey.
The event will also be shown live on streaming service DAZN in America.
