LITTLE Lever’s Jack Cullen did not disappoint on his first outing on the big stage in Liverpool on Friday night.
The English middleweight champion defended his title with a dominant display against John Harding Jnr live on Sky Sports.
Referee Bob Williams waved the fight off in the eighth round to avoid the Brixton man taking any more punishment.
Crowd-pleaser Cullen has now won 17 of his 18 fights as a professional and is likely to next be handed a chance to win the Commonwealth title.

The 25-year-old was due to challenge Felix Cash last month only for the champion to pull out through injury.
For Cullen, this performance on Eddie Hearn's Matchroom show at the Exhibition Centre should represent a breakout night for a fighter who has worked his way up on smaller shows around the North West.
Now Little Lever's Meat Cleaver should have plenty more big nights ahead.
