FOUR players from Horwich and three each from Westhoughton and Eagley have been selected for the Bolton Cricket League team for the first group match in the annual Under-18s Inter-league competition.
The local lads take on the Pennine League at Horwich’s ground off Chorley New Road on Sunday, 1pm start.
Full team: Lewis Haydock (Horwich, captain), Toby Morgan (Walkden, wicketkeeper), Tom Billington (Horwich), Joseph Baldwin (Eagley), Matthew Morris (Westhoughton), Will Shuttleworth (Eagley), Marcus Haydock (Horwich), Jordan Higham (Westhoughton), Joe Ball (Heaton), Ben Harrison (Westhoughton), Zaid Patel (Eagley), Jack Berry (Horwich).
Reserves: Matthew Hargraves (Astley Bridge), Leighton Smith (Atherton), Abdullah Ishaq (Farnworth), Jack Welch (Atherton).
Players are asked to meet at Horwich Cricket Club no later than 11.30am.
