RADCLIFFE Borough were relieved to break their Stainton Park hoodoo in midweek and will look to maintain the winning habit when they take on Newcastle Blue Star at home tomorrow.
Boro go into the UniBond First Division North clash buoyed by Tuesday night’s 2-0 victory over Lancaster City in the UniBond Challenge Cup.
Boss Gerry Luczka was delighted after the cup win that was secured by goals from Neil Chappell and Steve Howson.
“It was a really spirited performance and we played some great stuff at times,” he said. “The key for us is that we’ve broken our home hoodoo for the season.”
