BOLTON Harriers had a number of athletes make it on to the podium at the Greater Manchester Sportshall Championships at SportCity.
Both the under-11s boys and girls had two teams in the relay with the boys retaining the title from last year – their B team finishing sixth – and the u11s girls runners-up.
Notable individual performances for the young Blue Vests team managed by Gwylim Jones included Eden Penketh winning a silver medal in the one-lap run and Sam Hazelwood winning the speed bounce for the second year running.
Also in the speed bounce, Isobel Oxley gained a bronze medal in her first outing for the club.
The Bolton Harriers athletes who took part were – u11s girls: Cloe Bentley-Hughes, Mia Makin, Poppy Dunne, Summer Eden, Kirsten Scaife, Vesta Drevinske, Isobel Oxley, Isobel Hall.
U11 boys: William Lacey, Eden Penketh, Vincent Worthington, Jamie Greenhalgh, Connor Gettinby, Alfie Dodds, Sam Hazelwood, Herbie Kay, Noah Pickford.
U13 girls: Idowu Taiwo.
U13 boys: Luke Greenhalgh, Oisin Behan, Jason Scaife.
U15 boys: Ruairi Behan.
