BURNDEN’S Gwen Kinloch scored an impressive age-category win at the Coniston 14 road race in the Lake District.
Kinloch won the F55 section of the women’s race with a great time of 1hr 41mins 13secs over the tough undulating course with Gareth Doherty the club’s first male runner to finish, coming home next in 1:42:23.
Mike Caine (1:54:47) and Steven Bate (1:56:06) were the other members to come in under two hours.
Linda O’Byrne just missed out on joining them, posting 2:02:44 with Andy Warburton not far off either in 2:06:30.
Richard Blake (2:14:19), Tony Woodiwiss (2:17:58) and Sarah Woodiwiss (2:21:12) completed the club representation.
