THIS week’s delve into the picture archives at The Bolton News has unearthed this photograph of the Little Lever Cricket Club team that were crowned Bolton League champions in 1995.
There is no information accompanying the picture so we would like to hear any memories from readers.
Do you remember that team or recognise anyone pictured?
Did you play for Little Lever at that time?
Email david.pye@nqnw.co.uk with any recollections
THE second picture was part of last week's sporting nostalgia section and features the Standish CC side from 1984.
We asked for any memories and reader Nick Chamberlain got in touch.
He said: "Re the picture of Standish on Friday – the fixture was against Edgworth on Saturday, May 19, 1984.
"It was their first season in the Association.
"Standish scored 123 all out, Frank Geary top scoring with 49 and Edgworth replied with 126-6.
"Edgworth won the championship that season and Standish finished 10th out of 13 clubs, winning five league games.
"The Standish side is, back from left, Peter Smailes, Russ Demming, Howard Gill, Ian Abernethy, Ken Cockram, John Turnbull, scorer (unknown); front, John Forster, Peter Foster, Dennis Patton, Steven Scott, Frank Geary."
