WANDERERS have captured Nottingham Forest striker Tyler Walker on loan for the rest of the season.

The 21-year-old front man is the son of former England international defender Des Walker, and has been a first team regular at the City Ground for a few seasons.

Walker is a graduate of Forest’s academy and made his professional debut against Rotherham United in March 2015.

Netting his first senior goal the following month against Brentford, the former England Under-20s international also spent time on loan at Burton Albion, Stevenage and Port Vale during the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons.

Featuring 16 times for Forest during the first half of the 2017/18 campaign, Walker has four goals to his name so far this season while he also set up Barrie McKay’s strike against Bolton last month.

He is set to make his Whites debut in front of the Sky TV cameras at Macron Stadium on Friday against Bristol City.
