HOMES in Radcliffe have been left without water today due to a burst pipe.
United Utilities reported that some residents in the M26 postcode complained of water coming out of the tap slower than usual or going off altogether.
A spokesman said that engineers had been dispatched to fix a burst pipe on Bury and Bolton Road at 2pm and had completed the repairs by 5pm.
A statement on the United Utilities website said: "Our team of engineers has finished repairing the leaking pipe on Bury and Bolton Road and the water should be starting to flow normally again.
"However it may take up to two hours for the water pressure to return to normal levels. We’re sorry if this has affected you and thank you for your patience.
"Because there’s been some disturbance to the pipes in your area you may notice the water is a little cloudy or discoloured, please check our Discoloured Water page for more information."
