CLOGS away!
Old Hall Primary School held two days of clog dancing to teach the pupils about the three hundred year old British tradition.
The dancing lessons tied in with work the pupils are already doing on life in Victorian Britain.
Alex Fisher is a community dance artist who specialises in traditional clog and step dance led the school.
She has been clog dancing for more than 30 years.
She said: "Each group had an hour's workshop with me and I taught them a routine and some moves and put it all together.
"They all seemed to enjoy it and it was lovely to share it with these children."
Deborah Ainscoe, headteacher at Old Hall, said it had been a fantastic event.
She said: "This has been a unique and fantastic challenge for all pupils of all abilities, developing rhythm and co-ordination that is fun, fast and skilful.
"The children thoroughly enjoyed it and achieved so much."
Mrs Ainscoe hopes she will be able to bring Ms Fisher back next year to repeat the success.
