THE winter weather has caused disruptions to some bus services in Bury this morning.

Rosso services have been badly affected, including the 475 and 479 services, which have both been cancelled.

The 477, 480, 482 and 484 services, also operated by Rosso, have been affected, as well as the 472/474 First Bus services.

The 477 service is unable to serve Summerseat Village, and is operating via the 478 route instead.

The 480 service, which runs between Bury and Bolton, is unable to serve Affetside so is now operating direct along Bradshaw Road between Walves and Bradshaw.

Meanwhile, the 482 service between Bury and Bacup is unable to serve the Pennine Road area, so is operating between Bury and Bacup town centre only.

The 484 service between Bury and Accrington is operating between Bury and Ramsbottom only.

The 472/474 services are currently omitting Peel Brow and Eliza Street in Ramsbottom, and are staying on Bury New Road due to snow and ice.

A severe weather warning was issued for the area last night, and a yellow weather alert warning of snow in Bury remains in place until 3pm today.
