BURY have confirmed there will be a minute's applause in tribute to much-loved fan Keith Freeman and former player Bobby Collins before Saturday's home match against Burton Albion.
It is also understood the players will wear black armbands as a mark of respect.
Former Scotland international Collins, who played for Bury for three seasons between 1967 and 1969, died yesterday aged 82.
Freeman, a former landlord of the Waterloo pub who provided digs to a whole generation of Shakers players, died, aged 68, in North Manchester hosptial on Sunday following a brief illness.
