This live event has finished
- Bury 0
- Rochdale 0 (Henderson s/o 43)
95 - Lillis tips over a point blank header from Carroll.
Bury 0 Rochdale 0
86 - Lillis pulled off a great stop, rushing out to the feet of Nardiello to block his shot after the striker got on the end of a Platt flick-on.
87 - YELLOW - Lillis - time wasting.
78 - Donnelly looks to have been dragged back as he got the wrong side of the Bury defence and his weak shot was easy for Jensen.
Attendance: 6,295 (2,027 visiting).
70 - SUB - Grimes on for Miller.
But Bury were always a threat on the break, and the Dale keeper had to make himself big to block a Tom Soares shot from close range.
With 20 minutes remaining, the game became stretched as both sides went for the win, and substitute George Porter very nearly broke the deadlock, forcing Jensen into a fingertip save.
66 - Cavanagh fires a shot just wide, again with Jensen beaten.
67 - Vincenti has a shot blocked for a corner.
62 - SUB - Porter on for Allen.
60 - Vincenti failed to make contact with an attempted header from Rose's cross from the left. If he gets his head on it Dale would have been one up.
59 - Young races into the Dale box but his cross/shot slices high over the bar.
56 - Michael Rose bent a superb free-kick around the Bury wall but is bounced just the wrong side of the post with Jensen beaten.
55 - YELLOW - McNulty
49 - Young storms onto a through ball but fluffs his attempt to flick the ball past the onrushing keeper.
46 - SUB - Soares and Young on for Akpa Akpro and Mayor.
Bury 0 Rochdale 0
PS: Let's hope not!
Second East Lancs derby that Rochdale have had a player sent off in the first half.
Keith Hill's side won the reverse fixture - can they produce a repeat performance?
43 - OFF - Henderson picks up his second yellow card for a barge on Carroll.
37 - Nardiello creates a bit of space for himself in the right corner of the box and smashes a shot just over the bar.
34 - YELLOW - Henderson (deliverate handball).
21 - Henderson flings himelf to the ground under a challenge from Jensen. It looked a clear dive but the referee has just had a word with him rather than bringing out a card.
18 - Allen heads over from a Vincenti cross. Dale are getting alot of joy down their right.
17 - SUB - Donnelly on for Hogan.
16 - Hogan has gone down with no-one around him clutching his left knee. Looks like he is coming off. Big blow for Rochdale.
15 - Akpa Akpro robs O'Connell and runs in on goal but the Dale keeper clears into the Bury crowd.
12 - Vincenti heads behind at the near post.
10 - Allen gets in behind Miller at a throw-in but fails to get anything on his shot from inside the box.
Cavanagh then heads a Rafferty cross over.
7 - Good run into the box from Done but his chipped cross to the back stick is cleared.
He's hobbled off but getting ready to come back on.
Hogan is down and in a certain amount of pain. Looks to be his left knee that's the problem.
4 - O'Connell shot from 10 yards blocked and balloons up to Jensen in the Bury goal.
2 - Platt effort from six yards is blocked behind for a corner.
Timely offside flag as Hogan gets in behind...
Players are out and I would say three ends of the ground are pretty much full. Only the stand to my right, which normally houses the away fans, is not full.
Great atmosphere building. Wouldn't it be great if it was like this every week. That's Mr Day's dream, could this be the start of it?
Just popped for a coffee and bumped into James Beattie, Mark Robins, Uwe Rosler and Mike Phelan. It's the match everyone's talking about...
Rochdale team news
Dale are unchanged from the side that won 3-0 at home to Oxford at the weekend.
Scott Hogan - League Two's player of the month for February - will pose the biggest threat, coming into the game on the back of a hat-trick.
The Shakers' Lancashire rivals will go top with three points and will be full of confidence they can get them, with just one defeat to their name in their last night league matches.
League Two manager of the month David Flitcroft had injury doubts over captain Craig Jones and strikers Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro and Ashley Grimes going into tonight's Lancahsire derby at home to Rochdale.
The good news is that Akpa Akpro is fit enough to start and Grimes has made the bench.
The bad news is that Jones has missed out completely after pulling up with a hamstring strain in the 2-1 defeat at Cheltenham Town last Saturday.
And midfield linchpin Andrew Tutte - signed from Dale in January - is also a shock absentee, possibly a clause in the deal that saw him move to the JD Stadium on a free transfer.
That means Flitcroft will have to show his managerial skills tonight if he is to take points from friend and mentor Keith Hill, whose Rochdale side will go top with a victory.
It looks like the Shakers boss has switched Danny Mayor from the attacking midfield slot behind the front two to fill in for Jones at right wing-back, while Chris Sedgwick will deputise for Tutte in the cente of midfield.
That means joint top scorer Daniel Nardiello will play a withdrawn role behind a front two of Akpa Akpro and Clive Platt, who combined with clinical effect in the latter stages of Bury's recent 1-0 win at Wimbledon.
Tom Soares returns to bolster Flitcroft's options from the bench, following a time out to get back up to match fitness, according to his manager.
BURY: Jensen; Veseli, Mills, McNulty; Mayor, Sedgwick, Miller, Carroll; Nardiello; Platt, Akpa Akpro.

Subs: Eastham, Kennedy, Donnelly, Gray, Porter, Thomson, Bunney.
Welcome to the JD Stadium for what promises to be a cracking night of League Two football.
I'm in situ in the stands behind the dugout, sat next to former Shakers favourite Jamie Hoyland.
The Rochdale fans are already starting to filter into the ground on my left and the Sky TV cameras are filming pitchside.
It feels like a special night already, and lets hope it turns out that way for Bury after 90 minutes.
I've just been handed the teamsheet so will get that posted asap.
