A NUMBER of streets have been taped off following reports of an alleged shooting.
Witnesses said they could hear gunshots being fired on Vicarage Road, in Abram, in the early hours of Thursday morning.
It comes just days after shots were fired in Hilden Street, Bolton. It's not thought the incidents are linked but is the latest in a string of firearms incidents across Greater Manchester.
