POLICE stopped a car in Atherton after it drove into a police scene and discovered that it had no business insurance despite delivering a takeaway.
The silver car was stopped by officers in Tyldesley Road and the driver was issued with a traffic offence report (TOR).
A cordon was set up in Atherton last night after a cyclist was hit by a car on Market Street shortly before 6.50pm.
He was taken to hospital but his injuries are not believed to be serious.

The road was closed for several hours while police investigated the scene.
The driver of the silver car drove through the no entry area, catching police attention.
Greater Manchester Police said: "Driving through a no entry and into a police scene is not going to end well for you.
"Especially when you're delivering takeaway food with no business insurance.
"Stopped by XT14 Tyldesley Road, Atherton. TOR issued."
