McDonald’s has announced that a popular chicken burger is returning to its menu from next week.

McSpicy will not only return to the fast food chain’s menu but it will become a permanent item so fans can grab one as they please.

Fans can get their hands on McSpicy from February 15.

The burger features a spicy chicken breast fillet with crunchy lettuce and mayo which all sits between toasted sesame seed buns.

When customers buy the McSpicy burger individually, it’ll cost £4.79 and opting for an extra-value meal will set them back £6.29.

McSpicy to return to McDonald's menu permanently

Gráinne Allen, Director of Food and Innovation, McDonald’s UK and Ireland, said: “We’re so pleased to be welcoming the McSpicy to our permanent menu across the UK and Ireland. The McSpicy brings the heat to our menu, and we hope chicken lovers across the nation are as excited about its permanence as we are.”

The permanent addition to the menu comes as fans asked McDonald’s to bring it back to the menu after they were impressed when it was available for a limited time.
