A Bolton band have released a new single to follow up on the success of their previous number and are set to embark on a mini tour.

Following ‘If You Know You Know’, which was dubbed XS Manchester’s ‘Single of The Week’, The Shed Project are back with another tune.

‘If You're Gettin’ Busy [You’re Getting Better]’ was released on all major digital platforms on Friday, February 17.

The song deals with the painful subject of loss of a loved one.

The acoustic-based ballad is the first single taken from their forthcoming second album, which is due to be released in autumn this year.

Teaming up once again to raise funds for Bolton based mental health organisation WhysUp, the single will help spread the word on addiction and mental health.

Formed three years ago, in 2023 The Shed Project will also embark on their first UK mini tour taking in London, Birmingham and Glasgow with support coming from MC Tunes, with further festival dates booked for later in the year.

The band were formed three years ago in rhythm guitarist Johns Ratcliffe’s shed.

He and vocalist Roy Fletcher came up with the idea of a band influenced by their favourite artists with a relevant current day twist.

The Shed Project take inspiration from acclaimed Manchester bands such as The Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, and The Charlatans.
