Families are being invited to hop along to Bolton Museum this Easter for fun activities.

Between Saturday, April 1 to Sunday, April 16, Bolton Museum will be hosting an Easter Break Bonanza animal themed activities between 11am and 3pm.

There will be object handling, spring-time crafts, stories and games.

Throughout the holidays there will also be a fun new trail around the museum and some "egg-citing" themed activities in the run up to Easter weekend.

The library and museum services will be updating their social media on the run up to Easter with more information on the specific activities.

Plus there will be Easter film screenings nearly everyday throughout the Easter holidays at 2pm, apart from April 7, 9, 10 and 12 April and on Saturday April 8, it will take place at 1pm.

The free film screenings will take place at the Library Lecture Theatre.

The sessions are free and there is no need to book.
