A Bolton takeaway has been given a food hygiene rating boost, moving up from two to four stars after its latest inspection.
Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety, inspectors have given Chips R Us on Tonge Old Road a score of four out of five after an assessment on May 10, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
The inspection report states the management of food safety is good, the hygienic food handling is very good, and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is generally satisfactory.
