Bolton is set to be the home of the UK’s biggest JYSK store as the Danish retailer re-opens its doors bigger and better than ever before at the end of this month.

As part of plans to improve and update its UK stores, JYSK, is pleased to announce the grand re-opening of its first XL store in Bolton at 10am on August 17 at Unit D, Gate Retail Park, Bolton, BL1 2SL.

The existing Bolton JYSK retail space has been fully refurbished and transformed into a JYSK XL store.

The improved, larger size space means that JYSK can offer valued customers, new and existing, an enriched customer shopping experience.

The XL retail space is 1201 m2 square metres.

JYSK is an international chain of stores with Scandinavian roots that sells everything for the home who are renowned for high quality, on trend products for the home, from the bedroom to the garden.

In celebration of the grand opening, Bolton customers will get to enjoy up to 70 per cent off hundreds of products for the duration of the opening week as well as additional great offers online and in all stores nationwide in the UK.

Ciaron Hearns, JYSK Sales and Marketing Manager, UK and Ireland, said: “JYSK (pronounced YOOSK) Bolton is our most exciting UK store launch to date, it is our first XL store, and it has been designed to improve customer shopping experiences.

"Our Bolton customers will have seen the transformation of the Bolton store over the last three months, and we’re delighted to unveil all the hard work from the JYSK teams.

"Dedicated customers will see that the XL concept differs from our usual store format, now featuring more space and inspiration, as well as a wider product assortment, increased stock, and more creative and stylish displays.

"Not only this, but we’re pleased to include furniture and accessories from our assortment that are normally only exclusively available online.

"We are committed bringing our customers the best shopping experience possible, and so as with all JYSK UK stores, customers will be able to enjoy our brilliant same-day click and collect service, AnyVan local next day delivery service, and exclusive in-store lines.

"We are so looking forward to seeing you there!”

The sky’s the limit for the Danish retailer as they set their next goal of 5000 stores worldwide.

This year, the Danes are planning to focus on bolstering their existing store portfolio to bring UK customers improved, refurbished stores with plans to bring all stores in the UK up to date with the 3.0 model by 2025 to ensure they’re providing the very best shopping environment for their product and customer.

JYSK has seen record results in the UK and Ireland during the financial year 2021/2022, increasing its turnover 11 per cent despite challenging trading conditions.

JYSK’s steady growth is owed to its continued focus by customers on home and garden improvements coupled with store expansion and investment over the last year.
