A lorry blocked a road after it attempted a 'quick U-turn' and got stuck in the mud.
The driver of the HGV attempted the manoeuvre on Liverpool Road in Eccles near to Barton Aerodrome yesterday morning, Thursday, December 14.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officers said that it blocked 'three lanes' before being towed out.
Its driver was reported to court.
A spokesperson for GMP's Traffic team said: "Liverpool Road, Eccles this morning outside Barton Aerodrome. This driver thought he could make a quick u-turn but unfortunately got stuck in the mud blocking three lanes.
"HGV eventually towed out and driver reported to court."
This comes after an Asda lorry driver backed into a house in Horwich last year.
The HGV reversed into two houses on Napier Drive on July 26 last year. Residents reported that the driver's satnav sent him up the cul-de-sac.
Residents, including a number of children, watched on frightened from inside the houses as the huge vehicle crumpled the porches of the buildings.
