It’s been an incredible week in Bolton for anyone who loves a snowy landscape.

Though we had the usual troubles with gritting, public transport and get around, for those who braved the cold to see some of the borough’s most spectacular landscapes it proved well worth it.

With the snow clearing across most of the region this Sunday, we thought we’d round up some of the most stunning photos taken over the last week by our Bolton News Camera Club members.

They got out and about to some see some of our best loved landscapes over the last few days and to see for themselves how they looked while blanketed with snow.

It’s fair to say some very familiar sights have been looking quite different over the last few days!
