Greater Manchester Police found a ‘large amount of suspected stolen oil’ during a van stop on Wigan Road yesterday.

At 10.40am on Monday, officers from the Bolton South Neighbourhood team and Bolton Priority crime team and Response came across a van ‘believed to be linked to a theft job’, the force told The Bolton News.

After a check, two vehicle occupants were arrested for ‘failing to appear’, and a large amount of suspected stolen oil was found in the rear of the vehicle.
