Bolton comedian Peter Kay has announced an extra date has been added to his shows at the Co-op Live.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Peter Kay will be the first act to ever perform at the new stadium in Manchester when it opens in spring.

And now, after ‘phenomenal demand’ an extra date has been added for fans to see Peter Kay  at the UK’s largest live entertainment arena, in April.

The 50-year-old revealed on Monday, February 19, he was to to open the arena with his Better Late than Never show on April 23, this year.

And today, February 23, he has announced the new date added will be on April 24.

Tickets for the first date went on general sale today and  are already proving popular with the new date added.

There is a ticket limit of 10 per person, per household during general sale.

Doors open at 6.30pm and the show will start  at 8pm.

Olivia Rodrigo and The Jonas Brothers will also be performing at the Co-op Arena this year.
